Hi G-Fans!
Wile E. Coyote.
Well, it looks like we have one of his descendants pictured in the link below. Only this one has, ultimately, a more favorable and encouraging outcome.
He is the Wild Coyote.

Anyway, I digress....
Well, today was another pretty good day. It looked dicey at one point, but ultimately turned to my advantage:)
The concierge took a slow start to the day, which was fine as it was overcast and a bit dreary. Later in the morning, however, the drearies gave way to some pretty fine, warm and sunny weather. We visited next door, and while we were visiting I noticed the concierge was in gathering and organizing mode. Then I heard the word "bath"... I suddenly felt faint and needed indoor comforts to support my wobbly state... so I excused myself (quietly, ever so quietly) while everyone else remained outside. Sure enough, I could hear Tess' knees knocking from two doors away.... She was the first to fall prey to the bath process. Then Harry succumbed. Then Raphael. And then something funny happened. The baths ended there. No more happened after Raphael. When everyone realized that no one else was getting a bath, Bertie and Riley materialized from the tree ethers and I realized I could have been outside enjoying the sunshine without slinking inside...
So, the great bath dodge was just the first nice thing for me today.
The other nice thing was a lovely long walk with only Bertie and some humans. The concierge was otherwise engaged, but I still got a lovely walk pond side. I have to say, I was rather well-behaved for the event.
Now, since I am a dog, I don't always remember things or see the justice in things.
When the concierge came home hours later, she took Riley, Tess and Raphael for a walk. She left me home with Bertie and Snagglepus. I was incensed! I made sure the concierge knew this. I did what I usually do when I am not the first one to go on a walk... I grabbed the kitchen sponge and left it strategically placed on the bed that is halfway between both doors, so the concierge could see it coming or going.... She got the message immediately upon her return. She will think twice on leaving me behind....!
OK, that's it for tonight.
Try to be sponge-worthy!!
