Raccoon Invasion!

Hi G-Fans!
I have included a link to the New England Wildlife Center's raccoon video.  I enjoyed watching the curious youngsters.  I like them in the cage.  I don't know how I feel about them roaming around unsupervised.
But, enjoy the video....

Now, onto today's issues.  Today started out well enough.  Sun streaming in the window (although a bit on the chilly side,  I don't mind brisk weather) and a lovely massage was how I began my day.  Nice, huh?
Then the usual breakfast, potty break, etc.
Raphael and Riley preferred spending time inside with the toys that the concierge allowed to remain out.. in fact the concierge has surprisingly allowed ALL of them to stay available!  This makes Riley very frisky.  He really enjoys a good ripping and shredding and de-stuffing session.  Tess almost spoiled it for the rest of us by hoarding several of the toys that the concierge had piled on a bed this morning while we were outside before breakfast.  Tess got very protective and gave Raphael some serious sass when he sidled up to swipe one from her stash!  Surprising switch from her usual sanguine self.  :)  But, it was over and Tess was admonished appropriately and nothing more came of it.  Sidestepped that one!
Anyway, after breakfast Tess, Bertie and myself stayed outside.  We were out there for awhile.  Long enough to feel the need to create an adventure.  So while the concierge was preparing the bird's breakfast and the like, we decided to see what level of the earth's crust we could reach before getting too tired or cold or before being called in.  We had hoped for something exciting.  Perhaps unearthing dinosaur remains.  Or maybe reaching a molten lava center.  Or some other exciting find.  But what we got, in the end, was water, cold dirty water, poured onto our lovely grime filled beards and a walk through our wading pool.  Hrmph.  Not the treatment fit for a princess, I can tell you!!  And not the outcome as hoped.
And, since this morning, the sun had disappeared, the rain drops have arrived and it is cold and blustery and dark.  The promise of a decent walk seems more bleak moment by moment.
So, there you have it for now.
I am waiting for a walk, I am waiting for dinner and perhaps I am waiting for another massage :)
I hope all you G-Fans have your fur rubbed the right way every day:)
TTFN!

I am such an angel, providing my own entertainment....

I think the ball went down this way.... maybe if I dig a little further it will emerge....

Have you seen it anywhere?

Oh, there it is , on the other side of the tree, it must have rolled over there when I wasn't looking.....
