Hello G-Fans!
Well this is the 100th entry in my daily writing. So, I have been pontificating for 100 days straight (with some interjections from others...). Pretty Amazing. Are you still reading!?
Just to remind you, I love to know you are enjoying my sassy insights into the world.
It makes me giggle.
Today I should write about Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. But, I find it rather ho-hum boring. We did lose our proper power for quite a few hours. But, there was this smelly thingy outside that hummed as long as the humans fed it the stuff they put into cars (the concierge reminded me it is gas - not the kind that comes after eating some really rotted food - the kind the humans go buy). There were some orange cords plugged into it (yes, I know and can see my colors) and so we had some lights and the refrigerator/freezer was kept cold. So my leftover liver and gizzards were good for breakfast this morning (i.e. - no bloating gas tomorrow). Tonight there has been quite a bit of rain, lightning and wind, mixed with clear skies, bright moon, stars and quickly moving clouds. Yesterday, before all the excitement started, we all headed to the bog for a great walk. Today, we got a "nod" walk, and we arrived home just in time to miss the thunder and pouring rain. So, I am glad to have missed that even at the expense of a longer walk.
Right now, all I hear is ice dropping down into the dispenser in the freezer and the buzzing of the fridge motor and some high pitched noises from all the electronic gadgets either being charged or being worked. Oh, and the tick, tick, tick of the battery powered clock. The birds are sleeping as is everyone else. Except me. And the concierge. She is typing for me. They don't make the keys big enough (yet) for me to go it alone.
Well, I guess that is it.
Looking at all the peacefully sleeping bodies strewn about the room is making me want to go to sleep as well.
So my wish for you this day is to have the twinkles in the stars sprinkle the fairy dust of deeply refreshing sleep across your being, so you can greet your new day with vigor and enthusiasm.
TTFN!
