It's all about Bertie

Hi G-Fans!
SO, let me catch you up on what's been going on....
Gabriella's concierge came yesterday, and there was some de-scenting activities going on... Not very effective as we have ripened our own scents to a fair-the-well and the smell holds tenaciously against cleaning efforts.
It is awesome.
Now, Harry, he has developed a powerful personal signature scent.  He had to get an impromptu butt bath yesterday he was so ripe.  Gotta love it.
Let's see, you know about the biggest situation which was Snagglepus dying.
I have to say that is an activity I was o.k. being left out of...
We walked to the bog yesterday and overall it was quiet.  One potential issue, but not really, and we moved along and never had a problem.
Today we went to the forest and had a lovely walk on a balmy day - it was over 50 degrees today:)
All of last week's snow is almost completely gone because the last few days have been so warm...  The concierge got all the mucky mud off her non-royal transport vehicle today, it is so shiny now!
So, today Bertie had a surprise for the concierge.
He left a load of vomit on the couch and a load of poop on the floor first thing this morning.  Then he surprised her by throwing up his dinner while she was eating hers.  He was mad because he wanted to save it for later and she wanted nothing more than to clean it up immediately.  Before she went back to her dinner she scooped everything up including the bed he barfed on and prepared it for the washing machine.
Speaking of which - it has been working overtime - there isn't one dirty clothing item right now - but there are plenty of dirty royal K-9 items such as beds and bed coverings....
It's always something.
Tomorrow the old babysitter goes and gets a follow-up and Gabriella's concierge is bringing him.
The concierge's schedule is all over the place tomorrow.
I think she will be around to clean up any more vomit.
So, may the unpleasant tasks in life come after your first morning beverage and not before.
TTFN!

Goodbyes suck.

Hi G-Fans!
Today we said goodbye to our friend Snagglepus AKA:  Snaggles, Snags, Snagmeister, etc.....
Instead of writing how awesome of a being he was, we decided on a photo montage....
We will miss him, we ache for him and we are grateful for knowing him and being blessed with his presence in our lives....
We love you!!
XOXOXOX

One paw in front of the other....

Hi G-Fans!
Well, lots of things brewing around here.
To update you on the weather, it was relatively "warm today" with sun and warmer than freezing temperatures.
We went out a few times with Harry's concierge, but otherwise relaxed and lolled about.  The concierge left us to our own devices today, but we weren't very motivated to do much of anything except snooze.
We did go for a school walk, Harry did some challenging lunges, but aside from that there was little in the way of excitement.
On a sadder note:
Snow Angel, Harry's bunny sister died today.
She had a decently length of time on this earth, and had been challenged physically for awhile, but we are always shocked to have to say goodbye.  We didn't see Harry today, so we didn't know what was going on until after the fact.
So, we send Harry and his entourage hugs, slurpy kisses and encouragement on such a sad day.
Tomorrow is our sad day.
The concierge has told us that we need to say goodbye to Snagglepus tomorrow morning.  She has been saying good bye to him all night, which is kind of annoying, I am a little sick of hearing her sniffle and snort.  I hope there are some human assistants to help with the aftermath, I am not signing up for that mess mop-up... not to be insensitive or anything.  Funny thing is that Raphael will probably be the one to miss him the most, aside from the concierge of course.
Life is strange.
So, what are the odds of another cat arriving here?  I should hope the proper channels are followed, like including me in the whole process!
So, may you put one paw in front of the other in order to keep on moving...
TTFN!
