I am not happy. While we were under siege from an earthquake at 7:13 p.m. originating in Maine measuring 4.6 on the richter scale, the concierge was taking a second walk with Raphael, Harry and Harry's concierge. Not only was she taking a second walk with Raphael, but she left us to fend for ourselves during a crisis! Unbelievable!
. I don't care that she didn't know it was going to happen. It did. We weren't supervised. And something could have fallen on the royal head and knocked me out! Bertie wasn't any help. He jumps five feet in the air when an unexpected leaf tickles his nose. Tessa was comatose from our earlier bog walk (we came back less than a half hour before the quake shook), so she was no help. RIley tried to hide under the wood stove (not in use, thankfully), so again, not helpful. So that leaves me. Now, I may be ok in a crisis, but it takes me a long time to recover from one. So, now, I am antsy and following the concierge around... very unlike my royal self. I would like to keep the concierge in sight so she can't slip away without telling me this time. I don't like not having her nearby. It isn't because I am scared, it isn't because I can't take care of things and it isn't because I need her. It is only because I shouldn't have to do anything that might be stressful. That is what she is for. Taking care of all those pesky details. And cater to my royal desires. And that is it. That's my story and I am sticking to it. By the way, it was sunny and in the high 50's today. Nice fall day with lots of fall colors. Who would expect a tectonic shift?

I suppose that is the way it goes.
How goes you?
