Young and Old alike enjoy their fun!

Hi G-Fans!
Well, what an eventful day we have had today!
Where to begin!!??
I guess, due to time, I will stick with our walk thrills.
Today was very exciting.  When we got to the top of the trail to the bog this afternoon the helper noticed a funny pattern in the trail.  Just about the same time our noses went to the ground with extreme prejudice!  The helper noted that the first few hundred feet of the trail had tire marks of some kind, bigger than a mountain bike, but not a four-wheeled vehicle.  And where that stopped was where the dragging markings stopped on the other side of the trail.  The helper surmised something had been dragged, and more than likely that something was a deer.  Our noses concurred.
More and more evidence surfaced as we walked down the trail.  Blobs of clotted blood flooded our noses.  Even Riley was hot on the scent trail.  He may be old, but he isn't dead!  He was having some fun!!
The dragging marks continued and the smells continues.  And then there was a huge bunch of innards left in a demarcation in the ground underneath a tree.  The concierge wanted a closer inspection, the helper was getting a tad green and we were on go-juice... so there was only a cursory glance at what was more than likely the gutting remains of "the kill".
The concierge says she is REALLY glad none of us had to witness any of the gory details.
I am not too sure.
It sounds tantalizingly awesome to me.
Oh, now I am making the concierge green.
Well, suffice it to say, it wouldn't bother me in the least and it would be an excellent adventure in my opinion, aside of course,  from the loud sounds the guns make.
SInce we were walking late afternoon the helper suggested we go a different route back to the royal abode.
He didn't fancy stepping in any of the bloody blobs on the way back in the dark.
So walking a new way was very exciting too.
Walking another way home made Raphael stay on high alert and pulling hard the entire walk.  That made the concierge a tad irritable.  Too bad.  So sad.
Anyway, I would like to mention that the sunset tonight was delightful with pinks, grays, blues and oranges.  So pretty.  Maybe I will get the concierge to include a picture tomorrow.
So, because the concierge has a really early morning appointment tomorrow, I will end, but there is so much more to share.
Anon....
May you know your limits and act accordingly.
TTFN!
