Hi G-Fans!
I am so fuming I almost can't write tonight!
It was a rainy and dreary day today, so we had low expectations for our walk. It is a good thing too! For all of us except Raphael (and Harry) that is.....
The concierge left this morning take care of the rest of those wreaths and some other things....
She came back for lunch (a little late in my opinion) and then we settled in for a nice group nap.
Instead of walking us with some daylight still lingering, the concierge opted to feed herself and Harry's concierge and play some games. Now that is bad enough. It gets worse.
Appropriately the concierge and Harry's concierge leashed up Harry, Raphael, Riley and myself, leaving Bertie, Tessa and the cats (and birds) behind.
So, ok, there will be two shifts on a nighttime school walk.
We came back, pretty soggy, unleashed and then Bertie and Tessa were leashed up and taken out.
I then took inventory.
There I was, there was Riley, and Snagglepus and Sophie.
Now, I may not be a genius in math, but I know my basics.
If we left on a walk with three and left two behind, then on the second walk there should be three soggy doggies left behind with two gone to walk. (Harry usually goes on both when we do two walks).
There were only two soggy doggies; me and Riley, no Raphael.
If you were here you would have seen the steam streaming out of my ears and nose.
Whenever they got back I made sure there was some ice between me and the concierge.
It isn't Raphael's fault. He is at the end of the leash. And, of course, he isn't complaining to go twice. But the concierge must be losing her mind. She didn't even try to trick me. She just locked me out of the kitchen so I couldn't leave a clear message in a short amount of time.
Unbelievable.
And, because of the two walks, dinner was late.
It is just so subpar around here lately!
So, may you be a clear voice in the storm for others to follow to safety....
TTFN!
