Grumpiness, greetings and pogo sticks...

Hi G-Fans!

So, it was a sunny and mild late autumn day, until our walk.  Then it was cloudy and it spit rain at us sporadically!  We were so psyched to walk in the daylight, which we did, sort of, but those clouds really obscured the light levels.....

We had some excitement on the walk with people having the audacity to walk in front of their picture windows (yes, INSIDE their house!) and then some teens walking with a bouncing flashlight and probably other gauntlet situations, or maybe those were yesterday's.  We did have some dog and child situations yesterday....  

Anyway, we all made it through, Riley is miffed because he keeps getting lifted over this log by the concierge and it annoys him to no end that she injures his dignity every time.

I say, what is the delay with all that?  Just jump over.  The concierge says it is too high for him.  I say, "pshaw".  Or something like that.  Maybe, "ppllbbbttttt".

So, even though the concierge left really early again, AND didn't get back when SOMEONE is suppose to, once she returned, she only left with us on tethers for the walk.  So, that was a change.  She was a little crotchety with us initially, however.  Probably because Bertie goes so over the top when she gets in and bounces on Riley's head when he pogo-sticks at the gate.  He acts pretty crazy.  Like someone put wind-up springs in his hind-end.  

And, for some reason, the concierge snarls at me too.  I am just telling her I am happy to see her as I cavort from couch to couch growling and grumbling and generally getting the pot stirred up (getting everyone else overexcited and stimulated).... she is soooo grumpy!  She says we are all troglodytes and our manners have flown out the window.

I look out the window all the time and I never see any manners whatsoever, so I really don't know what she is talking about.  Better yet, I don't think she knows what she is talking about!   Shhhh!  Don't tell her I said that!  That would be something ELSE for her to grouch about!

So, may you appropriately greet your loved ones on a daily basis to convey your deep affection for them!
