Digestive upset, walks, muffins, cookies.......

Hi G-Fans!

Well for an overcast and dreary day we have been pretty busy.

The morning was normal enough.

But, after snacks and whatnot we went on a forest walk - finally!

Everyone, but Riley, pooped efficiently while on the walk.

You ask, "Grace, really, why must you bring up the subject of pooping?  How is it relevant?  It seems like a coarse subject to be discussing....?"

Well, I have good reason to bring it up.

We had a good long walk.  We came back shortly before dinner time.  The concierge was taking a catnap (literally, see last photo, that is her lap...).  She heard Riley moan a couple of times and she thought he might need some pain medication.  Before she could react she realized he needed to go out to go potty, she was too late.  At least he did it by the door and on a towel that was for our wet feet.  Not too bad for clean-up.  It didn't hold dinner up too badly.  Just the rice the concierge decided Riley needed had to finish cooking.  We don't know what he may have done to create the situation, he never lets loose in the house, never ever.  Hopefully the carob and rice take care of his distress...

While the rice was cooking and the concierge was doling out the kibble she dropped the glass lid of our food jar on the floor.  So, more cleaning...  The helper was very helpful in helping with the situation.  On top of that there were pumpkin muffins the helper was baking in the oven, and, I think you might guess it, there were dog cookies too!  I didn't see a recipe in front of the concierge, but I will say they smell pretty good.  Carob, peanut butter and zucchini cookies....  We will be taking samples tonight for quality control purposes..... Soon, very soon......  I monitored the process closely, I think they will pass inspection.....

So, may you be the best taste tester there is so you are always called upon to help out!!
