Hi G-Fans!
Sorry for the day of silence. The concierge stayed up too late and wasn't listening very well and I didn't feel like being patient with her.... so..... I told her to forget it for a night....
So, to catch you up....
Yesterday we did a school walk even though it was a nice day.... a daytime walk would have been preferable, but the concierge used her time to continue playing with her tissue paper and boxes. Then when the helper was available the concierge had to go do what she has been normally doing in the morning because something was broken and she was rescheduled....
So I suffer because machines are unreliable!
Go Figure!
Anyway.
Today made up for yesterday's transgressions.
We did a FOREST WALK!
Now mind you, it wasn't one of our leisurely ones, but it was nice just the same.
Not as many creatures were lurking nearby as in the last one, but that is ok, we still enjoyed ourselves.
Apparently all the frenzied boxing and wrapping is being exchanged for mixing and blending. The last boxes were sent this morning after the concierge's regular appointment... After our return from the walk the bowls, the spoons, the spatulas, the flours, sugars, butters, etc. all came out...
Unfortunately, the supplies were not very agreeable for the process. One of them came flying out of the cabinet and sprayed over all the other ingredients (it was grits of all things). Also, Harry's concierge had to keep running home for things that weren't here, in addition to keeping the concierge on task (she was still tired and pretty scattered).
There was a lot of activity for only one batch of dough to be produced. I guess it was the motivating batter.
Tomorrow has plans for several more to be made... I have been promised that there will be cookies made for the royal clan as well.... there will be serious repercussions if this doesn't occur.
Cans and sponges had best be well secured...!
So, that is it for now. I am not privy to the wrapping room, so I can't tell you much more since that is where all the activity has been the last few days.
May you remain focused on the true meaning of Christmas and not get distracted by the sparkly lights and tinsel....!
TTFN!
-G
| Playing is always an important stress reliever....! |
| Even Tessa gets into it sometimes.... :) (She usually likes to frolic without balls or toys involved) |
