Hi G-Fans!
Well, this is my 850th proffering...
Who knew a dog would have so much to ponder upon....!?
So, today was a colder and dreary-ish day with overcast skies.... we even had slushy sleetish snow/rain, but that was after we did another bog walk, and it was a full one because we left earlier today than yesterday. While w were walking we had some excitement of other dogs on the walk (they were well behaved) who were wearing orange paraphernalia like us and then there were the people who had the audacity to get in and out of their cars in their driveways.... unbelievable!
On another note... I want you to know that I've still "got it". Everyone was anxious to get bedtime snacks a little while ago, even though it was a tad early. No one wanted to rock the concierge's boat (she is being a real grump) so being the benevolent monarch who I am, I knew it was on me to initiate the process.... I gave my wide-eyed lash flutter with a neck swoop ending in a nose bump. It works every time. I might have to repeat it once or twice, but it is a consistently effective "go-to" maneuver and has all around good results. The concierge has never been grouchy in response to this demure approach. It gets her every time. Even in her current climate of crabbiness! I guess she has good reason (for being crabby)... but......
And another thing, I am wondering when we are going to get our private time. Is she going to be omnipresent for the next four weeks??? I mean, we like our walks and treats, and door openings/out time at more frequent intervals, but personal-time is important too.....
These are questions we need answered!
And then there is Christmas.
Usually there is a book.
I am not at liberty to discuss this.... but there will be a review of this process in the new year.
So may you balance your needs with those needs of others while garnishing adequate personal time to recharge your battery packs.....!
TTFN!
-G
