Hi G-Fans!
Finally we had a forest walk today and enjoyed some great sniffing trails. There were some creatures nearby tantalizing our noses on much of the walk.
It was nice to be out in some sun for a change, no rain, snow or overcast conditions:)
Overall a fairly usual Sunday.
Aside from the holiday activities that come at this time of year that is....
Raphael (who is on severe restrictions and under strict supervision) and Sophie assisted in wrapping in the wrapping room. Raphael was anxious to see some light reflections, but enjoyed the crinkling noises from all the tissue paper. Sophie assisted by dive bombing the piles of paper and pushing between the layers for an especially tantalizing level of noise making. It was very hard for both to stay out of the room and just watch, they both wanted to be actively helping the process. This was the kind of help that makes the concierge's neck pulsate uncontrollably. It is really quite concerning when I see this on her! She really needs to lighten up and get over the whole thing of expecting everyone to behave in a civilized manner. It isn't happening. Too many smells, noises, crunching, crinkling and overall bustling. Too exciting.
So, that is it.
Everyone is passed out in various locations of the domicile, some enjoying the warmth from the wood stove, some enjoying the cool of the tile. Either way, relaxing in a deep sleep for the most part and perhaps even some dreams of chasing deer or turkey...
So, even with the added activity for Christmas preparations, may you experience the joy and radiating peace that is Christmas proper....!
TTFN!
