The day after...

Hi G-Fans!

Well, there continues to be snow and coldness making our walks difficult.  Today we planned on going closer to the bog than yesterday, but because of everyone's ice balls we turned around in the same spot.  It hurts like a toothache to have those imbedded in our foot pads.  It shoots right through me and probably everyone else as well.  It was such a nice sunny day too.  It was almost in the 30's.

As far as cleaning, it didn't get close to the threat.  An unexpected event called the concierge away (yay!) so she minimized her efforts.  But I am noticing things are shifting around and piles are getting smaller, so she is definitely doing some stuff, just not scrubbing down the furniture.  She did, however, clear off the counter this morning, so we can see the counter top again.

(Shhh, she doesn't know I get up to view the counters regularly....)

I forgot to mention yesterday that we had a partial spa treatment.  We all had our nails done yesterday.  Nothing very fancy or impressive.  I would like to go to one of those places where they sand them down and paint pictures on them like penguins, or things like the Gettysburg address.... It would be so much more intriguing than just getting them shorter.  Snagglepus even had his done.  He was better than usual for them.

Oh!  And another thing!

A mouse left its calling card after cleaning Snagglepus' bowl clean!

And in this weather!

The concierge will have a hard time finding new placement for whatever she catches.

Since the walk tired us out, this isn't a huge deal, but the concierge left us twice today.  Right before our walk and right after.  The first time she came back smelling like chocolate, apricots and chicken. A pretty potent combination.  Then she ditched us for several hours and returned smelling like sizing and lots of people.

Ok, so, I want to retire to the boudoir.  So I shall end here.
