It should be all about the steak!

Hi G-Fans!

How was your first day of 2014?

No snow, yet.

No rain, yet.

Just snippity snappity breezy weather.

First, before I forget, I would like to know why I have been deprived of steak until now?  Where has the stash been kept?  We have had "steak leftovers" for three or four meals as an add-in and it makes us all bezerko, including Snagglepus.

We LOVE steak!

I thought we were a dedicated and loyal chicken and fish family.  But steak, glorious artery clogging steak.  It is delish!!

We LOVE it... did I mention that already?

When do more leftovers arrive is the question we all have?  How do we make more come?  I will have to work on that.

Next.  The walk.

So, G-Fans, do you think we had a long glorious walk?

Or, did we have a short perfunctory mediocre (or lower) walk?

We have been pretty low on the walk agenda lately.

Did she or didn't she?  (make it up to us)

Well, for those rooting for the concierge to come through, you will be vindicated.

We had a long luxurious Forest Walk with smell galore and pleasantries exchanged and no unpleasant surprises.

And during the day.

And to top it off we spent the evening (after a shortish disappearance act from the concierge) hanging and snuggling on the couch with the gang watching a movie.  It was all very pleasant.  I made sure Tessa did not hosey the concierge's lap.  She draped herself across Harry's human sistah's lap.  Bertie was snuggled into the concierge's assistant's lap.  It was all very snug.  And the assistant stayed awake for the ENTIRE movie!  That NEVER happens.  EVER!  And it wasn't even featuring a dog.  Go figure!

Now, to update you on Snagglepus.  His eye is swollen.  It has stopped seeping fluids of all kinds.  It is hard to tell if he can see or not, we are waiting that out.  But, he ate last night and regular all day.  He did his usual routine.  He even snuggled on the couch with the concierge and Raphael without issue of any kind this morning.  He is pretty stalwart!!

So, we are keeping close tabs on him and at the ready to bring him into the vet, but so far it seems like he will heal on his own.  Keep the prayers coming!!

So, in the wake of unexpected events may you brush yourself off, get yourself upright and continue in whatever direction you were meant to go in....

Although he looks questionable, if I had the concierge do a video you would hear that he was contentedly purring this morning.

Oh, this... I forgot to tell you about this.  This is a group effort.  We all had a go at removing the stuffing from this old smelly pillow.  We did it fast too, one minute the concierge looked and all was intact and fine and the next we had a go like with a pinata and shredded that sucker right up.... this is the sanitized versiion of what we did.....!
Just sayin'
