Hi G-Fans!
We have had aliens descend upon us. Short ones and tall ones.
I think I may be too traumatized to write about it, but I will try.
First, there was steady snow throughout the day that only started to accumulate in the last few hours. Bertie keeps scooping it up with his beard like it is a snow cone or something.
Next, we did take a walk and just arrived back a little while ago.
We are now by the wood stove, curled into various pieces of furniture and relaxing, despite the invasion.
Yes, we have been invaded.
Although, it seemed to go better overall than initially expected.
Except for Riley. Riley really is struggling with the marauders. He has a history with short people. Not a happy history. Women too, but he is more over that than not.
The face he made today when the aliens arrived said it all. It was a scrunched up grump face. Like Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street.
Grouch-eee!!
The rest of us are relatively ok.
We will see about tomorrow morning when we realize that the aliens slept over.
May you find yourself confident when confronted with things that are new.
TTFN!

"Alien species" redirects here. For life on planets other than Earth, see Extraterrestrials.
For a list of extraterrestrials in fiction, see List of fictional extraterrestrials.
An introduced, alien, exotic, non-indigenous, or non-native species, or simply an introduction, is a species living outside its native distributional range, which has arrived there byhuman activity, either deliberate or accidental. Some introduced species are damaging to the ecosystem they are introduced into, others have no negative effect and can, in fact, be beneficial as an alternative to pesticides in agriculture for example. In some instances the potential for being beneficial or detrimental in the long run remains unknown, for instance in New Zealand.[1] A list of introduced species is given in a separate article.
The effect of introduced species on natural environments is a controversial subject, and one that has gained much scrutiny by scientists, governments, farmers and others. Not all introduced species are problematic. Those species that spread widely and create significant problems are known as invasive species.![]() |
