Working Legs, Ice Cream & Cake

Last year's winter portrait.  Look who (naturally) is front and center.
:)
Hi G-Fans!
I don't know about your neck of the woods, but it was pawsitively spring-like out today :)
We didn't get as much playtime as we wanted, but we got some.
I will tell you something we apparently aren't getting tonight, and I am more than annoyed since it wasn't run by me at all!
We haven't had a walk yet!!
Now, the concierge assured me we were getting one two hours ago.
But, since the,n she has spoken with our sitter who hasn't been here in a week (she keeps calling him "grandpa", I am not so sure about that..... even if he does have a scruffy face like us...) who is in the middle of the flu outbreak in Boston (declared a state of emergency according to the concierge... what do you think that means?  State of Emergency..... like some kind of crisis?  I know when we get low on cookies I go into crisis mode.  I would think a flu would be good.  Birds do it,  chimneys have it, it sounds good to me.... maybe I should talk to the concierge about that.
In the meantime....
She has also had a shower, eaten, had her own cookies and has been working on the computer and in that big black book she has for work.   I don't think the walk is going to work.
This is shocking.
The first non-walk day in a cajillion years.
I don't recall it happening  in a really, really long time.
I am going to let it slide, but probably not entirely.
It looks like as soon as we are done with the blog she is giving us cookies and we will be retiring to the royal chambers.
If she gives me a good back and butt rub I will not surmount an insurrection.....
tonight.
So, for those of you who prefer the potato ships on the couch,
may you find that your legs continue to work even though you mowed on chocolate cake and ice cream every day for the last five years and didn't share it with the dog regardless that it was dangerous to give the dog some......
So,
TTFN!
-G
