Ice, cranberries and walking

All cracked up....
Hi Go-Fans!
Today and yesterday we have been walking on the bog and watching the ice recede.  Today was really foggy because the air was so warm.  And we watched the snow sculptures in the yards shrink in half.   Just like the witch in the Wizard of Oz.... The snowmen were Melllllltinnnnngggggg.........
The bog ice is sooooo inviting, Raphael and I REALLY want to walk on it (and not JUST for the birds....)  Yesterday Harry's concierge spotted a heron flying over the pond while the rest of us were looking at seagulls flitting over the bog. My concierge looked at the last minute and saw it fly away.  So, what IS the difference between an egret, heron and stork?
Today there were several folks walking with dogs who weren't leashed.  Ah, the joy of frolicking unfettered.  I used to know how that felt.  Now, I think I agree with the concierge.  It is annoying to have poorly behaved dogs make us crazy wild and owners who rarely try to lasso them in.  It is like being at Wal Mart according to the concierge.  Wild banshees running amok without anyone in charge or making sure their charges aren't nuisances.
Today Raphael broke free from his constraints and got nose to nose with one unleashed dog.
It was a bit dicey for a few minutes.  We couldn't really see what was going on from where we were as we jogged ahead knowing the dog had a bead on us.
All, was fine, however.  They went nose to nose, we yelled at the other owners to call their dog, the concierge called Raphael, who responded perfectly.  And all was well :)
Nice:)
We got everything on Raphael hooked back up and carried on.
So another successful day at the bog.
Well, I have a spot on the couch waiting for me and I have some running to do in my dreams.... so I need to sign off now.
May your dreams set you free with wild abandon :)
TTFN!
