| The New England Wildlife Goat. I refuse to know more than that. |
Hi G-Fans!
Well, I think I had a visual cookie overload.
I was so not into breakfast this morning because the concierge ate too many cookies last night. I really think that was the problem. My tummy was hungry, but my mouth was having none of it.
So, I had to be ferocious to protect my stash.
The concierge had to step in so I wouldn't rip anyone's head off when they got too close to my bowl.
She tried to tempt me into eating, she tried to encourage me to eat, but it wasn't happening for me. I even refused a cookie, but I was going to keep it for later. The concierge took it back, the big Indian giver! She is so fresh. It is my kingdom and no one has the right to take my goodies. Even if I want them later and not right away. Wouldn't you agree?
So, anyway...
She did finger feed me a snack at lunch, some warm white stuff that was ok.
By the time Harry's concierge fed me tonight, I was ravenous and ready to eat everyone's food.
But, I know the deal, so I kept to my own bowl and stayed the course with the evening routine.
I guess me eating is cause for celebration because Harry's concierge was really happy that I ate.
Of course I ate. Did she think I would skip more than one meal??? I don't think so! One meal-strikes are all I need to ensure the appropriate level of attention is on me. I just have to do it every few months to make sure it is working properly. If it ever stops having the desired effect I will have to step it up and come up with a new approach or technique.
Luckily, it is working still.
I know I said it was because of the cookies. But, I really was mostly making that up. It wasn't so much the cookies as it was just time to skip a meal and my body signaled the temporary shut-down. No reason not to use it to my advantage....
I even threw in a few choking gags on our bog walk for the dramatic effect of the food strike.
In addition to all this the house was cleaned quite thoroughly by Harry's human "sisters".
Yikes!
Now we have to keep our eyes on them and the concierge for cleaning attacks on the castle.
Where will it ever stop???
So, you are now up to date.
TTFN!
-G
