On the Road to Rouen

Hi G-Fans!
I've been thinking.  Maybe it is the shorter days.  Less sunlight makes me restless.
So, I have been asking the concierge questions about her trip to Paris.
(I still say she could have brought me along.  We could have pretended it was for a show!)
Anyway....
The first full day in France was spent driving a rental car.  The day before the concierge and Harry's concierge arrived in Paris and drove to Giverny.  From there they were persuaded to drive to Rouen via La Ville de Foret (I know, punctuation is missing, this is an american alphabet keyboard) - Forest Village.....
The above cow and her cohorts were peacefully grazing in a field after La Ville de Foret on the way to Rouen.  The concierge, who was driving was taking pictures at the same time.  Harry's concierge, however, may have taken this picture as she assisted in the process...
The cathedral pictures is the Rouen Notre Dame Cathedral that Claude Monet painted over and over and over and over.  I can see why...  it is quite beautiful.  I love the dancing light that comes through stained glass.  Especially in a dark dank thousand year-old church.... phenomenal.  Truly.  No fresh quips tonight.  Even if i am Italian-Canadian.  ( I know, I should be talking or writing in Italian, but the concierge taught me french and I didn't live in my birth home long enough to pick up much Italian.  I can do, "Ciou, bella".  But, that is about it.
OK, another early night, that drippy nose is now joined by sneezing on the concierge...
So, we will close for tonight.
TTFN!
-G
