It is December 1st!

Hi G-Fans!

Today is the first day of the last month of the year!  Wow.

That means nothing to me.

What is important that there are good smells coming up.  Unfortunately most of the stuff that gets made isn't shared.  Pretty rude if you ask me.

Like the pictures of the cookies I included.  I never had a morsel.  That was a few years ago.  Maybe there will be some changes this year.  More inclusive. Perhaps?

I did hear the word "Snickerpoodles" bandied about while several folks were entering things in little rectangular devices and on pieces of papers.....  I seem to recall those are made for dogs and people.  I recall that they were pretty good.  I recall that when something is made for people and dogs, dogs get less than if it was made just for dogs.....  Just something I have noticed.... Just Sayin'.....

So, today it is snowing.

Il neige.

Il fait mauvais ou il fait beau?

I suppose it depends on your viewpoint.

If you are the concierge who planned to clean the house and the snow makes the ground grungy-muddy which clings to our feet which we bring into the house which makes the floors a lovely brown grittiness, I think you may say, "il fait mauvais."  Personally, I can say, "il fait beau".  I am all for bringing the outdoors inside whenever possible.  It just makes it so much more, je ne sais quoi, homey or cozy?  Right now it is delightful.  The usually white floor is now a mottled brown.  It still needs work, but with all of us working together it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to make it a solid brown.  Maybe even diggable if we are really motivated!

So, that is it in a cookie.
