Hi G-Fans!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Although, I don't know what is so great about it.
There is a frenzy of cooking, smells of oils and herbs mingling with smells of boiling gizzards and roasting birds.
So that part - good.
But then there is the carving and slicing and spooning and scraping....
That part - could be good.
But it isn't.
Do you know why it isn't?
Because all the carving, slicing, spooning and scraping gets me no further than I was yesterday in eating some turkey, potatoes, gravy, stuffing or any of the other delightful morsels that makes my mouth drip with saliva and my head spin with aromas. Nothing.
Oh, wait a minute.
The concierge is giving me the stink-eye.
We DID get a measly dollop of turkey juices in our food tonight. It wasn't even warmed up. While everyone else was chewing on succulent slices of turkey. Not a morsel.
At least Gabriella brought coconut cookies for us. That is something anyway!
But the concierge didn't even remember the lunch cookies today (there goes her stink-eye look again - she really should have that checked - maybe it is a medical condition...!?)
So, you wonder why there are pictures of birds?
And most of them not even very focused?
And that the bird of honor is missing....?
Just because. I figured this is the focal point of the day, so I will keep you no longer so you may peruse the pics.

TTFN! Gotta go before I lose the concierge to a turkey induced coma....
