Wild and Wooly

Hi G- Fans!

It has progressed into a wild and wet evening.  A Nor'Easter has come our way and the rain, interrupted power and wind has got us hunkering down for the duration.  Even though Tessa is unhappy with all the weather sounds and the rest of us aren't thrilled with all the whipping wind and branches, we were happy to take at least a short walk.  It was quite exciting with biting wind, flashes of light and then complete darkness punctuated suddenly with lights in the neighborhood houses.  We liked being the only brave souls to have the chutzpah to be out in such weather for our regimen of a daily constitutional.  Maybe we should try being mail carriers?!  We muddle through any kind of weather!  Right now the wind is whistling through the trees and against the window panes making for a lot of whooshing, rattling and banging.  I wonder how our whistling pig is faring in all this...?

The time change has thrown us into a dither.  It gets dark so early there is no chance of a long bog walk or any other long walk for that matter if the concierge has to do one of her full days.  We still get a walk... but it isn't anything to write about.  I also find that my tummy has been suffering.  Mealtimes have been thrown off with this ridiculous time construction developed by humans trying to control things that are out of their control.  When will they learn to just roll with the flow?   There is only so much one can bark about and be satisfied.

So, G-Fans, I hope this finds you warm and cozy, tucked into a safe spot to weather the storms of life, without missing out on the excitement it can provide.
