Hi G-Fans!
Well, we had a good Saturday. I don't know if the concierge agrees necessarily, but she only left the house with us, so in my estimation, that is as it should be.
So, we went to the forest and we were crammed into the car because Harry's concierge was unavailable for transportation. The concierge was not very energetic initially, but picked up as the walk went along and was fine by the time we were done. We all had a nice walk with no unpleasant surprises.
The snow was a bit crunchy, but thanks to snowmobile tracks it wasn't bad going at all. Riley kept up without struggling. So, we had a good daytime excursion.
Before all that was the part the concierge might have something to say about....
As far as I know about the story, the concierge was washing her hair and was getting a tad irritated with the fluctuating water pressure that has been going on for awhile now. She was mostly irritated because the pressure at that point was low and made for a slow and chilly shower experience. Just as she was grumbling about it the water stopped entirely.
The good news is she had just rinsed all the shampoo out of her hair.
The bad news is she hadn't finished the rest of her shower.
So, she jumped out thinking a pipe burst and there was a flood collecting in the basement.
But, there wasn't. Another good thing.
She then determined that the no-water situation was for all the faucets, not just the shower.
It wasn't the filter as she switched the water back and forth.
Which leaves the water pump, which was one of the likely culprits, but she wanted to rule out other options.
It also mattered because it would change who was getting the SOS call.
So, three phone calls later (she had three phone numbers for the 'well guy') she reached the guy who fixes our well.
An hour and a half later (and much barking by us) she was handing him a check and chocolate (for coming so quickly and being a generally nice guy - but you couldn't tell by me - I hardly got a whiff and was kept out of reach the whole time - we all were).
So, a potentially inconvenient situation was dealt with in record speed.
So, I think, overall, good.
So, may all your potential catastrophes be dealt with swiftly and efficiently creating minimum negative impact on your day!
TTFN!
