Izzy and Jack's "Concierge Letters"

Hi G-Fans!
Another bust of a night.
I was informed that it was only 14 degrees out and that it was too cold for me to be walked.
The concierge said she was willing to bundle up, but that we would be without appropriate gear to wear to keep us warm.  And reminded me that Harry and I were limping the last time she tried pushing the weather restriction limits.
Ok, so maybe she is right.
But, if this is going to keep happening, then we need to get an indoor exercise area for us.  A doggie treadmill of sorts.  With snacks, treats and interesting things to work up to like fire hydrants, unfamiliar cats and bicycles.....
So, I will share stuff from Jack and Izzy since I have very little in the way of scintillating observations to share.

First, a letter to Tessa:

WOW!!!!   Thanks so much for the surprise book, Tessa,  that
was wonderful.    I was watching a movie late this afternoon in the loft and the assistant concierge brought it up for us to read.   What a great surprise and so many neat pictures!   You know, I have a very special soft spot for you, Tessa, since I feel you are the special one that should have been with us.   Had Izzy and I not bonded at first sight, you would be here too and I would be experiencing all your charms.   You are so very special and sweet.   You seem a little less dramatic than your sister, Iz, and Mom, Grace. I doubt you make everyone work so hard for your approval.   Your sister, Iz, is a real snob, but I suppose that is one of the things that makes her so endearing.   She is mad at me at least once a day for something I do (or don't do), and she is very judgmental!!!   So, so similar to her mother's blog!  Thank you for sending your book.  I will keep it next to the book on Jack and Izzy from a few years back.  Where have the years gone????  Seems like just yesterday I was pulling into your driveway and your Mom was looking out the window.  We need to work on getting you all here sometime this summer.   It would be dog-cation for all of us but could be a lot of fun. Tell the concierge and the gang we all said hello.  Love to all and THANKS AGAIN....love it!!

A Note from another day to me:

Just want you to know that your little, sweet izzy smells like cat urine this
morning and it is driving me nuts but she seems to think her new "scent" works
well for her.   I have called the groomer and hopefully we can update her
fragrance.  She must have been visiting Charlie or Hank, the barn cats,  or maybe they had to
teach her some manners.   Either way, she smells foul!

I don't know.  I think cat urine might be an intriguing way to go for scent layering.  Which, by the way, we have been making some progress on as of late in the royal domicile.  No deep cleaning has been happening.....:)  The smell is much improved from a few weeks ago when it smelled of sweet almond oil and geraniums.  I will admit, however, that we all like the peppermint cleaner the concierge uses sometimes.  Raphael really likes it, he starts to lick the appliances when she uses it....!
The letter to Tessa is in reference to the book she put together with the concierge for Christmas this year.  She got it out late so it was sent out late, really late.  But folks seem to enjoy it.  Not to be a negative mom, but I liked the one I did last year better.  Just sayin;.
Another comment I want to add is I think I take exception about that whole judgmental thing.  I am discerning, I am not judgmental, there is a difference.  I also get sick of hearing how sweet Tessa is, she is a ruffian just like the rest of us.  A royal ruffian, but a ruffian nonetheless!
I do want to say that having my children scattered near and far can be difficult at times, but knowing the concierge who is with Jack and Izzy makes all the difference.  In fact, all the concierge's with my pups make me feel secure that I don't have to worry that they are well-loved members of each household:)
As it should be.
Just so.
So, that is it for tonight!
May you find shelter from the storms of life....
TTFN!
