The Brambles' Vendetta.....

Hi G-Fans!

Yup, it is still winter and it is still cold out.

There was some sun today, but we still had our walk in the dark of the night.

The stars sparkled and the moon crescent was bright.

The snow has become crunchy and the ice has receded, but is still slick where it remains.

So, for the third time this week, according to Harry's concierge, the concierge has been seeing the world from the bottom side up.... tonight it was because a car was coming and she hustled up the embankment to get us off the street.  But, she lost her footing because she only has two feet, no spare traction.  The crunchy snow held for a few seconds before giving way which threw her off balance.  Now even more interestingly, it was by those bramble bushes that have been allowed to overgrow to the street and the very same brambles that have attacked the concierge on more than one nightly excursion and drawing blood.  Seriously, they gouged her face once.  Harry's concierge didn't believe it when the concierge was telling her she was bleeding.  But, she was.

Anyway, this time the brambles tangled her up when she lost her balance and she got stuck and couldn't get free for a few minutes.  She had to do some weird looking movements with some hands on assistance to get herself free enough to scoot on her butt to move forward to get out of the reach of those prickly arms. 

Very embarrassing.

We had several episodes of cars zooming too fast and us having to hop onto snow banks to get out of the way.... NG.

Anyhoo....

May you feel the green breezes of spring tickling your nose.... they are coming....!

Also, may you always pack pruning shears to manage those pesky unexpected situations....!
