Hello Fans of Grace!
Well, our princess continues to hang in there in the ICC division of the hospital.
Harry's concierge was able to visit for a long while at lunch and The Helper visited for a good while this evening.
The doctor this morning told the me that they could work around my getting there pretty close to the end of visiting hours. With ten minutes left I arrived because of work, a long drive and pockets of slowed driving.
They proceeded to kick me out ten minutes later after I told them I had driven an hour and a half to see her.
I told them the doctor said they could be flexible with me getting there late.
They gave me an additional five minutes.
Needless to say I left in very poor spirits.
Grace was tired for the visit, but very vocal and snuggled hard on her very comfy bed.
She will be getting nutritionally via IV through a port placed in her neck.
She also was switched to an IV medicine as opposed to the medication I picked up for her Tuesday.
So there are quite a few tubes coming in/out of her.
So, don't let the prayers slow down. She is at risk for aspirations and pneumonia and the weakness (although improved, it is relative....)
When I came home and walked the rest of the sweethearts we found illicit "treasure". Looks like someone may have swiped it off a stoop and thought they were getting something good. Instead it was a vera bradley fabric bag, which, to some, IS a TREASURE!, but not whoever swiped it!
So that will be united with its rightful owner tomorrow.
Aside from all that....
Business as usual.
Grace says hello to all her fans and looks forward to resuming her blog entries when she returns home.
So, let's all get on the prayer wagon and send her healing!
Until the next entry -
-The Concierge
