Hi G-Fans!
Well, there was a dusting of snow left for us to find this morning.
Along with much warmer temperatures of 17 degrees - that is 10 degrees higher than yesterday morning.
It continued to warm up until it got to a balmy 27 or so degrees.
Humans get your shorts!
The concierge decided that two days without a walk was everyone's limit.
So, although she blew out of here this morning like it was a weekday, she came home late lunch time (after 1:30). But, apparently, it was work related... something to do with the snow.
Anyway, we did walk today and we did it in the sunshine.
The concierge thought 25 degrees wouldn't be too cold for us.
I struggled in the cold initially and wondered why my boots were left hanging on a peg at the royal retreat.
Especially since Tessa sported a jacket to combat the cold.
Well, the walk was fine, Bertie started to limp towards the end, so we had enough of the cold.
And, it turns out, it wasn't 25-27 degrees like the concierge thought, it was more like 17 or 18 degrees. The concierge says that 20 is the limit. The helper was being tortured by the concierge as well. He was cold and on top of that the concierge (who dressed in multiple layers and was nearly roasting) was taunting him about being cold. Yes, taunting him. What is wrong with humans? It was cold and he was cold. Enough said.
Poor helper.
I will do my best to warm him up!
The fire certainly helps too.
The fire has been going for awhile, even when the concierge went to her once a month Saturday night leave-the-royal-abode activity right before our supper.
Cozy fire.
So, may you lavish your loved ones with an abundance of love and affection without reservation.
TTFN!
-G
