Hi G-Fans!
Well, it started out with lotsa and lotsa rain this morning.
The concierge listened to the pelting drops on the skylight and tried to time our morning constitutional with the least amount of rain. It worked, we hardly got wet at all and by the time she returned late morning the sun was out and it was an abnormally glorious day!
And, the workers continues to bang, saw, buzz, clomp up and down, etc. I am exhausted from keeping one eye open in case anyone got out of line I was first to sound the alarm. It is grueling and tiring work to be a first responder!
Bertie did a pretty good job too.
The concierge kept shushing us because sometimes we did it to her.
She hates that.
I've inspected the work so far, looks like it is taking away, I wonder what is being put back?
Sophie was released from the basement and went exploring which took her between the floor boards. The concierge had to put wire grates over the openings so she can't wiggle anymore than that one time.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I do know that my royal boudoir has shrunk and the window is now awkward. Not sure what she will do about that.
And I really want a window in the bathroom so I can see the garden better.
I will have to let them know that...
