Je Ne Sais Quoi.....

Hi G-Fans!
So, I gave the concierge the night off last night.  Did she appreciate it?  I have no idea.
And therein lies my issue.
She never even acknowledged my largesse.
Not even a snort in my direction.
She really needs to work on her skills of appreciative acknowledgement.
She even slept in this morning and did not attend to her duties in a manner as she should...
Really disheartening....
I feel so neglected.  Unappreciated.  So... je ne sais quoi......
SO, to update you....
No word on this widespread issue with Blogger/Google sending out my pearls via e-mail, so I guess I will periodically send the link to remind my fans to read my very-nearly-daily entries.
Today we had a nice forest walk, I understand today was the last day for deer hunting so we were sure to dress in our oranges so none of us got mistakenly knocked off by an over-eager or under-experienced hunter.
It worked.
We are all alive and well and intact.
Our walk had some nice smells and we saw some areas from new vantage points which we all appreciated.
Yesterday Harry did not join us in our evening walk so we decided to pilgrimage for Christmas lights displays.  It wasn't much of a walk, as the destination yard was fairly nearby, but we had some excitement of dual dogs barking at us on the way home.  We got pretty excited as one of the dogs was just across the street giving us the business.  You can imagine how Raphael felt about that!   The concierge reprimanded us, shushed us and generally was dismissive of our stellar reactions to potential threats.
When is she going to get it is what I would like to know?
We also had some excitement today when we pulled into the royal entryway.
That dang orange cat who has been sighted on more than one occasion dashed off.
We made SURE that he heard us LOUD and CLEAR, despite the concierge trying to SHAME us into voicelessness!
NO WAY JOSE!!
That was cause for big noise.
It was on OUR turf!
Speaking of which, I understand while I was in cozy repose last night there was an unexpected bunny sighting, again in the  royal runway.  Very close to the door, just like the orange cat.
Hmmmmm......
Something seems to be afoot.....
I will keep you posted!
May you celebrate the wonder of the season with a true spirit of love!
TTFN!
-G
