Hi G-Fans!
Well, no rain today, but still kinda cloudy.
And, apparently the blogger e-mail function now works again!
YAY!
An almost usual morning... the concierge blew out of here, but earlier than usual so she could play Santa.
Apparently she arrived early to her usual Sunday morning destination and there were comments in her direction for being early....
I say, as long as I get my meals on time, there is no reason to worry about the clock.
Now, she didn't get home too late for our walk either, and apparently she took our old babysitter shopping AND delivered a second box to the brown place. She couldn't stop commenting that she did not wait in line to send it off.
I guess that is a big deal.
And I guess it is a big deal that it will get to its destination by Wednesday.
And I guess it is a big deal that she didn't have to give them her arms or legs for it.
SO, once she stuffed her gob with chicken (of which she DID NOT share even though I asked nicely) and a rice dish I think might be dangerous if I ate, but I think it would be worth it.... we geared up for a walk in the forest.
We brought Harry along even though his concierges were picking up Harry's human sister from the place those headless birds land with belly-fulls of people...
So, all went peacefully on the walk, until it was time to get into the royal transport machine at the end.
There was another vehicle nearby, but void of human activity or presence, so no big deal, right?
Wrong, the driver of the vehicle comes out of the woods just as we were unlocking the doors!
Harry was almost in and didn't know about the arrival of the human, that is, until Raphael and I let him know by lunging and barking. So, he, of course, whipped around to see who was attacking us.
When he did, there was a situation. I say it was Harry. The concierge says it was all three of us.
Anyway,
There was a discussion about taking the concierge to the ER, whatever that is...
She is pretty sure the snap sound was her finger breaking.
She declined the ER and is taking care of it on her own, I guess it is the wrist incident all over again.
I don't blame her, I don't like going to the doctors or the hospital either.
So, we are all peacefully relaxed and she is sitting with Tessa and Sophie by the fire as I give her the details to transcribe on the blog.
So, that is it for today.
I am hopeful to get a good walk tomorrow as the concierge took the week off. We will see.
May you stand still and as you listen to your inner quiet find the deep well of a grateful heart fill and spill over.
TTFN!
-G
