Hi G-Fans!
Another crazy day at the royal abode.
The concierge had a look in her eye all week that had me concerned.
She seemed pretty tense.
Well, tonight she is more "chill", but all week that wild look could have meant trouble.
But, I guess she is on the other side of whatever was going on.
The old babysitter is back home, Sophie has more tests awaiting results, several obligations have been met and hurdled, my dangling thingy on my leg is now gone (good riddance!) and now the concierge gears up for some quality time with us starting mid-week.
I do know she has some appointments this coming week that have to do with all that junk that went on last year. Apparently it is a year since she went through so many tests, surgeries and whatnot...
So, she hopes to have that behind us...
Now, what made today crazy?
Well, the concierge and Harry's concierge blew out of here behind schedule. They made the sandwich drop-off time, Sophie's sample was dropped off in time. The funeral was attended.
We had a bog walk that was fraught with gauntlets. Runners, children, adults with dogs (leashed) and Halloween decorations that were pretty scary all added to some ruffled hairs and mouthiness.... but no crisis:)
Then amidst tissue paper and cards there was another blow out but this time it was the helper and concierge to make it to a double birthday. They were significantly late.
Then they were late for our dinner, luckily Harry's concierge took pity on us and got us a potty break and dinner.
So, we didn't suffer horribly.
But then when she slipped into her multiple layers of night clothes she decided it was a good time to torture Bertie and me with face brushing and removal of knots and little seed pods attached to our faces. It was worse for Bertie since I went through this more recently than he had, so he had lots more knots.
Now we get to enjoy the fire and relaxing before we turn in for the night.
SO, may you suffer through the uncomfortable demands of life with dignity and patience.
TTFN!
-G
