Bedlam and other things....

Hi G-Fans!
Do you know that there has been over 10,000 "looks" on my blog?  That's right, 10,000+ times my blog has been viewed by someone other than those who have it sent directly to them!!
Crazy!
So, today was not rainy and a little bit sunny and fairly cool, but mostly cloudy.
I don't care, we had a REAL walk in the daylight!
The concierge did not allow that cooking, heating, cleaning and processing stuff to get in the way of our walk.
It sounds like she should have just not gotten into doing it at all today.
From what Harry has told us and from what I overheard the concierge say to the helper, there were burnt offerings, broken jars, nasty tasting bitterness and overall bedlam.
Glad to let Harry deal with that one!
He said he didn't even pester to get tastes of ANYTHING!  Even he thought the smells were unpalatable!
So, the walk was very good.
We even had some unusual excitement.
There was a funny little bird in the middle of a paved section of the "trail" (at that point it is actually a road).
We all thought it was injured.
The concierge passed us off to the helper so she could get a better look and perhaps help, unlike what we would have liked to have done.....
The bird walked toward the concierge like it was tame.
Then it let the concierge gently pick it up.
The concierge didn't see any obvious injuries.
And then it flew to the side of the road after the concierge had it scooped up, apparently it is capable of flying at least a short distance to safety.
We haven't ID'd the bird or figured out what might have made the bird act that way.....
SO, it is a conundrum and puzzle!
May you offer assistance to those in need regardless of your situation!
TTFN!

We saw some pretty wild looking wild mushrooms today.
This us AFTER the bird incident... see how we can look almost normal?
