Hi G-Fans!
I have decided I live in a bi-polar environment. Yesterday we went to the forest in the daylight for a walk. Tonight we got zippo. No Walk, No Vehicle ride, No Forest, No Nothing. So what if the concierge is sneezing, sniffling, blowing her nose and dragging her behind. The fresh air would do her good. So what that she didn't get home until after 8 and the dark night sky was in full force.
So what.
She said she thought sleeping tonight was more important than taking us on a 38 degree walk on the street. Which, I might add, that I heard a woman and a man from our town were each hit by cars (separate incidences) and killed today. It makes me concerned. Apparently the woman was walking a dog and the dog was also killed. I think I am all set walking the streets late at night. It seems like a worse idea than I already thought.
We are grateful for getting this far, now it is time to stop these risky behaviors!

P.S. - I heard that we are expecting snow this weekend.... and today only got to 40 or so, nothing like the last three days. The pictures of Snags is from April 15 of last year. So, it isn't encouraging that there was snow last year a month later than now.....
