Thank you Veterans!

Hi G-Fans!
No school today for the humans because they are recognizing their warriors.   It was, overall a quiet day.... but.....
Well, let's see...
There was a guy in a truck who stole stuff out of our yard this morning.  We didn't really wig out about it and the concierge seemed ok with it, I think she even gave him money on top of what he took.  He used a really big hose and stuck it into the ground, and it smelled pretty farty around here for awhile.....
Then, to make things more twisted, the concierge decided to use the vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, rags and various spray cleaners to strip off the layers of work we had been building on for the last few months.... very discouraging and rather disgusting if you ask me.  Rude too.
So we have to start all over again, she even did some of the walls.  I don't know what would have happened if she hadn't needed to leave for work.....
I will say that despite the lack of scented and hairy character, I am enjoying the new arrangement of furniture and recycled rug she put down.  It makes the room cozier for us and it is such a plush rug it is nice to lie on...
Now, about the walk....
It was a night time school walk.  Harry had already gone to the bog so he wasn't with us.  We were over halfway done and headed home when the one episode of the night occurred.
It was Tessa.  She found it.  The rest of us smelled it, but she got it.  It was a whole chicken carcass.  In her mouth!  The concierge had to stick her hand in Tessa's mouth five or six times to get everything out of her mouth and throat.  There was a massive hunk of skin partially swallowed that the concierge pulled out of Tessa's mouth.  While the never ending supply of chicken bones, skin and whatnot were being removed Raphael and Riley were trying to quietly get around the activity to get a hold of some that carcass for themselves.  I think we are being sent to bed without our snacks tonight.....
Just sayin'
So, may the prizes you find on your path be healthy and safe!
Ready with my "bib"....
