Hi G-Fans!
Well, we have survived in our first full snow of the season, we didn't have to ration the food supply or any other drastic measures, but we have had to snuggle up lots more!
So, yesterday was cold, cloudy with sun. The concierge was very focused on bringing us to the forest for a walk, which happily occurred. On the way to parking the royal mobile there was some excitement. The helper saw a deer, out in the open, in a side field and the concierge finally saw it as well, they only told us about it afterwards so we wouldn't act like banshees in the car. I will tell you, however, that we SMELLED it throughout our entire walk and the concierge pointed hoof prints out. I wonder if Santa knows some of his reindeer are hanging out down here?
We also had Harry's human auntie walk with us. She joined us the night before which set us off because, again, no one told us, it was dark and it was unexpected.... duh!
For our forest walk it was no big deal, even when she put the orange ghost kerchief on her head (the concierge had one too, something about warding off hunters) and she was looking a bit concerning. The concierge and Harry's concierge didn't bring cameras so there is no evidence this ever occurred..... But, it did!
And the concierges were a bit fresh about the whole thing.
We didn't get shot at, so I guess it worked.
The concierge said that next time she will remember to bring the really bright kerchiefs and make sure EVERYONE has one. My white butt could very easily be mistaken for a deer butt......!
Not fun.
So, may you enjoy each change in the season as if it is your favorite!
TTFN!
-G
