Hi G-Fans!
Well, the close to another week of the concierge being unavailable for hours on end. I expect my good walk tomorrow. This has been an eventfully uneventful week.
We did not pilgrimage on our own. We did not engage with any new humans or animals that I can recall. We did not forage for unauthorized snacks (btw - Raphael is officially back to normal from last week's escapades). Nor did we tear up, rip or otherwise maim unattended paraphernalia (aside from the missing sock, we stashed that somewhere good:).
But, on the other hand....
The concierge started getting up really early and leaving really early from the royal abode. Then, she was just getting over the other cold and she went into a new virus round knocking her out which meant she didn't stay out late Thursday night, but she slept through our dinner time (don't worry, the helper rescued us - not even an hour after the dinner bell should have woken up the concierge - so we were ok...)
And she came back home smelling like all kinds of unusual animals.
So, uneventfully eventful.
It seems all systems are back on track. I understand Sunday the concierge will be doing another early morning departure, but expects to return soon thereafter.....
And the big food fest that the humans seem to do every year is next week. So I am thinking there should be some fresh poultry in our future.
So, we will see.
Tonight we went to the school without Bertie or Tess. They went on the block walk and said they had a near-miss encounter with a dog that may have been unleashed, but no contact and no issues. They also had some near-brushes with the bushes and curbs (well, the concierges had the almost-issues....).
And, there was grumping going on before the walk....
So, I hope the irritable grouchy demeanor of the concierge is dropped soon, it is getting old!
So, may your demeanor remain sweet despite your circumstance and may you only resort to growling and snapping when absolutely necessary....
Just sayin'...
TTFN!
-G
