Hi G-Fans!
Oh, if I have to hear another thing about bruises or napping or sore muscles I will have an issue. The truth of it is, she is feeling the need to do more and being a butt because she knows she can't. Just sayin'.
The concierge did two walks with the helper and split us up. Apparently we are much better behaved when there are less of us. Go figure. There were bicycles and children and when we were confronted with these things we didn't even twitch. We were just "chill".
The concierge took Riley the first time and Bertie the second and Riley was more of a puller than Bertie. He is so excited to be back on track for walks. He DOES NOT LIKE being left home alone to spin his wheels. His incisions look terrific according to the concierge and Monday will be his day to get his stitches out. The concierge gets hers out on the 19th along with two appointments to find out what is next. She says this is the honeymoon phase. The known cancer has been removed, so she has been proactive and she can rest. Until the 19th she can just be pleased with that. After the 19th life will change for her as far as she assumes. That's when the follow up treatments will be put into place and what those will be will all depend on what those doctors find in the next week in their laboratories. Right now she feels well enough to feed us, slowly walk us and take showers. So the basics covered. Last night she was a victim of pushing her limits... when I tried to talk to her about the blog she passed out and went to dreaming about us, there was a lot of twitching and she said she dreamt that she woke up to help me finish the blog (she didn't, she only got the pictures and one sentence written.....) so, this morning had to suffice....
Anyway.... Bertie and Tessa enjoyed the sunset with the concierge and the helper.
May you always take time to breathe in the beauty that surrounds you when you open your heart.
TTFN!
-G
