Hi G-Fans...
I write tonight with the concierge's heavy heart weighing on all of us.
She had to say goodbye to her friend of 15 years.
I think it is harder on her than we expected because he had been doing a bit better the last several days and she was getting hopeful. That can be a tricky one. Even when we know where the road is going, we want to wish it into a different location.... at least that is what the concierge said.... so anyway, she is sad and is very tearful and to be honest, not very much fun at the moment. At least she didn't skip our dinner (but then, that might be because she didn't know he had passed until the bird's bedtime when she went to give him his medicine.)
So, in honor of long time friendships, regardless of how they look, I take a moment of silence.
Maybe you would like to do that too.....
May you always make the necessary time to heartfully connect with those you love on a daily basis.
Maybe the concierge will want to reminisce about the endearing traits of Stufflebeam another day.
