Early Birds!!

Hi G-Fans!
I write to you flabbergasted even now.
The concierge threatened an early morning walk.  We didn't believe it.  And it truly happened!
We went to the bog before the concierge even had breakfast!  Of course we had ours!
That grey gruel glop that I nearly stuck my nose up at this morning, good thing I didn't or I would have been famished when I got home this morning.
So most of us did the whole walk.  Riley and Tessa had a shorter version.  However, from what I have learned, they had a bit more excitement than we did.
We had a loose dog with an owner who didn't seem to get that we were a rowdy group and did not leash up even after the concierge's helper gave a heads up when he was taking Tessa and Riley back early (his schedule, nothing to do with Tess or Riley).  Nice, huh?
So Tessa and Riley met up with the black dog on the tight path without incident.  We met up with same said dog shortly thereafter without incident, but a ripple of excitement on both sides.  The black dog chose to follow its  concierge and not come after us.... it was a tough call to be sure!
Then, from what I understand, Tess and Riley came up to another set of loose dogs in the cul-de-sac.  The owner came to collect them soon enough, but not before Riley gave them the bared teeth welcome and Tess started to enjoy the change in company.  All four (+helper) walked companionably for a bit before the wayward pups were collected.
We sniffed as much, but found out the details later.
Then the concierge, after the walk, disappeared for quite awhile.  It turns out she was doing errands with the old dog sitter and fixing things.  Then she was off to practice her writing skills so she can keep up with me.
So, after dinner, she went back to the computer until just a bit ago to finish all her tabulating for the papers she has to gather and compile before my birthday.
Good luck to that!
There were a few other things on her list, but they will have to wait yet again!
So, may you find your list short and your time long.
Enjoy your moments as they come.
TTFN!
-G
