Hi G-Fans!
Well, another funny weather day. It began with clouds, then sun, then clouds then sun and the sun stayed out for awhile today so we could get a good long walk in the forest. Good thing or I would be COMPLAINING tonight.
Why? You ask?
I will tell you.
The concierge should learn to tell time.
She made plans for a noon walk in the forest.
I didn't make this up, I have witnesses.
My walk and the walk of those who live with me, did not occur until after 5:00 p.m., that is more than five hours, yes, five hours plus.... AFTER the noon hour. What is the problem here? If I know it isn't right, than she HAS TO KNOW!?!? RIGHT??
But, since the sun cooperated, and we had a long leisurely and excitement filled walk, I really can't complain. And she had Harry's sister let us out, so we weren't desperate or anything. But, still, FIVE HOURS is a LONG time!
She had some lame excuse about GPS difficulties and unplanned rescue missions and Korean lunches at 3:00... But, still....
Anyhoo,
Why was the walk exciting?
Not because of loose dogs, wild turkeys or other wild life. It was because it was a whole new path for us and there were many downed trees in our way and we had to navigate through the challenges. And we had to support RIley keeping up too. It was dicey a couple of times, but so far I think everyone is ok.
So, that was my day... How was yours?
May the unexpected challenges in life prove invigorating, encouraging and uplifting.
TTFN!
-G
