Gobble Gobble....

Hi G-Fans!
What an orphan night we had tonight.  The concierge got home so late I thought it was time for breakfast!
She wolfed down an egg salad sandwich, thanks to Harry's concierge (and that is who fed us tonight too), and then Harry's concierges and Harry and us all took a very late walk.  We decided we had enough headlamps so we could go on the first leg of the bog walk instead of the school.
Woohoo!
Well, not as relaxed and calm as the concierges had planned.
Harry dropped off his business right at the entrance.  A little ways in Bertie found a nice bushy area to drop his load.
While the concierge was waiting for him to be finished she was looking around and up and over with the head lamp on.
When she swept the light over the treetops for the third or so time there was a sudden ruckus that startled everyone but Bertie (he was still going).  Harry's concierge was particularly distressed from the activity.
We all figured out that it was the turkeys roosting in the trees for the night.
It started a chain reaction.
Even though we had it figured out, it startled us every time.
The concierges were more than happy to turn around once we hit the turn off to the walk.
It goosed up the excitement level of the walk, I can guarantee that....!
The concierge kept saying how she felt bad for waking and startling the poor turkeys.
Harry's concierge and I say, "too bad, I don't want them sneaking up my behind".
So, although we were orphaned for the nth time, we had some thrills at the end of our day.
May you find something to give you goosebumps too!
TTFN!

Obvioulsy these pictures were not tonight's turkeys, but maybe they are distant cousins.
