Tomorrow

Hi G-Fans!

Well, Introspection is not one of my interests as a rule, but it is nearly the end of another calendar year and I thought it apropos to be somewhat reflective.
First, today, cold, brisk, icy from the rain freezing up and fairly cloudy.
We walked in the dark, but before the concierge's dinner and shortly after ours, so not very late.
Not very reportable.
A new thing on the walks is a headlamp.
I like it.
Things can't sneak up on us!
It does, however, get Raphael and Harry pretty jazzed.
But it is good that we have more visibility for motorists when we are on the sidewalks.
So, the year in review.
The concierge's hours have increasingly become late in the evening.
Bad.
We have missed only a few rare days for a walk of some kind, regardless of the weather.
Good.
We have switched Vet Hospitals.  I haven't been to the new facility.
I reserve judgment.
Riley and I are both allowed to retire to the upper royal chambers.
Good.
Lots of wood stove fires.
Good.
Not the usual level of snuggling.
Bad.
Blog is still going.
Good.
Riley is still ticking.
Good.
Gabriella has visited a few times.
I say, "Good", Tessa has a wrinkly nose in disdain.
We got through allergy season.
Good.
Cleaning has been at a minimum.
Good.
Mice were caught without injury.
Good.
So, it looks like more good than anything for the year in review.
That is good.
I wish all of you more good than not in your receding and upcoming years.
