9 Ladies Dancing and Other Activities....

Hi G-Fans!
Well, it is in full swing.  That high octane level of production has begun.  I will admit that we didn't suffer totally because of it.  We did a full bog walk in the magical falling snow. We ran followed the trail of a man and another dog and they were moving so slowly that we nearly overtook them.  So, we double backed and went a way around the pond that we haven't done in months.  Lo and behold we came full on to a fox.  We stared, it stared, we barked, it stared, the concierge had us move in a direction sideways to it towards another enclosed bog area.  We then walked that bog, looped around and headed back away from the sighting area.  As we turned the corner there was the fox again. This time it scampered up the hill and away from us and away from the pond.  Much to the relief of the concierge.
So, that was my afternoon.
The morning was one of new doctor's appointments for Raphael and Snagglepus and empty, but sprung traps.  So the concierge has stepped up the mouse catching tactics.  Tonight the gauntlet has been thrown down.  Tonight she has baited the trap with peanut butter and chocolate.  We shall see what happens in the morning.  The concierge said she will feel badly if she needs to release a mouse in a snowstorm, but she will if it means one less mouse is in the house.
The other significant happenings was that I went on a hunger strike this morning.  Again, that cold hard kibble that is referred ti as food is ridiculous.  I was able to wrangle an egg out of the deal.  She wanted to find some baby food to give me, but she didn't have any, so an egg was it.... which was way more acceptable than that gruel.  And might I add that the gruel was given to me for dinner so I didn't get away from it as well as I thought I had.  When I am so starving it is hard to focus and so I ate the gruel because I wasn't thinking straight.....
So there you have it.
Today's events.
May you weather the expected and unexpected storms in life with good cheer and the confidence of a well seasoned trapeze artist flying through the air into the arms of their partner.
TTFN!
More tomorrow.....
