3 days to go....

Hi G-Fans!
What a nice day we had!  Almost 50 degrees!  It felt very spring-like and we LOVE spring!!
Although the concierge disappeared for a few hours, she was home more than she wasn't, so I choose to overlook the unauthorized departure.
Now I can't decide which I prefer.
A dog walk early in the day or one later.
Early in the day we catch the warmer air if there is any to be caught, the sun is usually stronger and we don't have to feel like we are mushrooms or vampires or deep sea creatures who don't see the light of day.
On the other hand we look forward to the walk all day and get really jazzed up by the time those leashes appear....
Hard to say.
Anyway.
We did a full bog walk with a few hiccups.
First it was the hunter in full regalia walking through the tight little cut through path from the cul de sac to the sidewalk.  We had to regroup so he could walk on with his rifle and other gear.
Then we went without incident or engagement for quite awhile.  But then we took a break to listen to the wind whip the pond water under the partial covering of ice.  It made odd and eerie sounds.  As someone said, it sounds like locusts in the wind.
As we started to move towards the last of the walk an energetic pup was running about unleashed and assumed we were friendly.  Let me tell you, we discourage approaches from anyone, but it doesn't seem to faze most folks, I don't get it.
So we waited for the person to leash the dog so we could continue on our way.  But there was no leashing.  And the dog came bouncing back at us.  Granted it wasn't a Boxer or a Rotti, but it was an unknown wild card.  The second time we had scooted up an incline set behind the road.  Not hidden enough.  The dog came way closer than makes sense to me, but then at least had the sense to seek the person walking with the dog who then FINALLY leashed it up so we could continue on our way.   Manners are sorely in need of becoming the part of mainstream living, they seem to be non-existent.   Members of our society need to learn to become part of a greater whole and good.  Too much "me first".  The concierge agrees with me on this.  She also reminds me that I need to be part of the culture change.  I remind her that my rules are for everyone else, not for me.  Duh.
Ok then.
May we sniff first and pee second.
Just sayin'.
TTFN!

Better, but still wanting to get into the concierge's face and space

I don't even know if this is Bertie or Raphael

A pensive elf

Me

Me again

Raphael chasing shadows and light.

He wants to know when he can expect the camera to flash again...

Me, again.... Done.
