Hi G-Fans!
Well, the concierge has dragged herself through another work week. She isn't looking too good tonight. I guess that happens with humans, they don't have fur to smooth out their look.
Today started cloudy and uncertain which I overheard was concerning because Harry's human sister was doing a human show. But then it became a delightful and beautiful spring day. Since they don't carry their clothes around them like I do, she was going wear a special garment that draped and bedazzled with all sorts of primping preparation. I overheard that there were groomers involved for her nails and hair (my concierge always did mine for shows) and no handler was involved (which Harry's concierge wasn't concerned about... in fact she seemed to like the idea....?)
Anyway, all the adult humans around here will be relieved when everyone is safe and sound and this night is behind us.
The concierge will be happy when this night is behind us too. She had a heckuva afternoon/evening trying to assist a Lady in distress. (That is a little play on words for those of you in the know.)
Lady is our neighbor whose family had a few twists and turns this week and it befell the concierge to help Lady, a little white curly headed Bichon.....
Since she had no key and no current contact information we watched as she found a creative way to access Lady's home so Lady could go potty and have dinner. Overall a successful mission. I was waiting for a new guest to torture (oh, I mean welcome), but the consensus was that Lady should hold the fort. Oh, and the concierge had to turn Lady's water off so her family couldn't have a swimming pool in their basement like we had when they returned. They will be so disappointed. I know I would be....
So there truly is no dull day around here.
I will say that a formal protest is underway concerning the lack of a walk today.
I don't care who needed to be rescued, it could have been Rapunzel for all I care, nothing, I mean NOTHING, should stop me from taking to my walk. Period!
I have been rambling on waiting for the pictures to come through, so I will post whichever comes first and save the rest for tomorrow's blog.
