Hi G-Fans!
Well, we have had some kind of day today. It was POURING this morning right around breakfast, so the concierge waited to feed us so when we were through eating we wouldn't drown when we went out to go potty. Or... so we wouldn't pretend for two seconds to take care of business and turn around and come in pronto.
Then it became clear and pleasant as the day progressed.
So, tonight we had our full bog walk after we ate dinner with a pretty sunset, but, before the concierge and her friends ate.
So we were pretty much thrown into the house upon our return so they could race to a place to pick up ocean food. I got my digs in though. I snuggled up to a spot to hang in that is normally where Riley hangs, and so I stayed put even when the concierge, keys in hand, went outside to find me and call me and did a full check of the yard and two checks of the house looking for me. I just watched. Have you ever observed people dispassionately? Even though you might be at the center of the unfolding drama? I watched as my name was repeatedly called outside (that doesn't count as disobedience, it was an experiment) and as the concierge started getting the pinched look and pursed lips from being worried. FInally someone realized that Riley was standing next to them and his usual bed still had a body in it. I never moved.
So I had some fun with that. But, I have to admit, the concierge got me one better. When they all returned from their shortish expedition they smelled like salt water crustaceans mixed with mayo and cabbage. I was miffed at being left out of that! I just got the usual cookie. Nothing more or less (although, this morning we had tuna juice with breakfast)....So, aside from Riley mysteriously falling off the bed at some point last night, (and appears to be ok), those are the highlights of the day.
May you share, with your friends, even when they are four-legged, when you get a special meal spur of the moment.
TTFN G-Fans!
