Hi G-Fans!
The concierge here. I have commandeered the computer/blog without prior authorization, so I will pay the piper later.
I just couldn't resist sharing another weekend tale.
As I sit on this Sunday morning meditating the joys of a beautiful spring day I am struck.
The birds surround me with a symphony of music, delighting me with their songs. An occasional car drives by making that whooshy sound that cars make as the rubber grabs the pavement and their metal and plastic bulk pass trees and houses with motors humming. The wind picks up and swings the budding tree limbs making that same sort of whooshy sound as it moves through the neighborhood. It is a peaceful and happy group of sounds. And then, again, the hacking phlegmy coughing of my neighbor piercing the happy bubble of sounds with its ugly, harsh announcement. It strikes a raw nerve and makes me want to yell, "STOP DESTROYING YOUR BODY!" (and stop interrupting my peaceful Sunday meditation) (Put more simply and crudely - "Shut Up!") Yeah, that simple.
Even the distant dogs are pleasant Sunday morning as I chase the sun while sipping my mug of tea on such a brisk day. Let me emphasize DISTANT sounds of dogs are pleasantly thrown into the mix of sounds.
THe neighbor goes back onto his cave and peace is restored. My muscles start to relax, I start to slip into that place where all is right with the world.
Shortlived.
I am suddenly under attack when Raphael , who is two feet away from me, springs into alert mode and barks as if we are being invaded. This set Bertie into a braying howl and alll before eight in the morning.
So, they were ushered into the house without ceremony.
So I have cntributed to the auditory disruption of others' Sunday morning. My bad.
Peace again resumes and the crows have now entered into the sound scene.
Yikes.
So, Grace may share with you the movie we watched last night, she may not. She has been on a campaign for a smart phone. I thought only parents of human children had to deal with that sort of thing. Intelligence is nice, but it certainly comes with its own challenges.
So, since Grace always ends with a well wishing thought I will end with this:
May your intelligence never exceed or supercede your kindness, compassion and moral compass.
Ciou!
'Til another stolen moment arrives...
