Hi G-Fans!
Well, we made it through another storm of unexpected proportions. And apparently it mostly just on our street. Last night we went to bed and it was a rainy slushy mess, in the morning we woke up to deep wet heavy snow and a split tree in the back yard. I wonder if Harry heard it. Probably not, it didn't land on a gate and didn't create a place that could let unauthorized egress or access into the domain. So, the concierge went sledding with Raphael for the first time this season. They seem to whoop it up and made a big ado over a slow ride down a moderate slope. But I guess it is about having fun, which they did.
I guess I could go on and on about the goings on relative to the storm. And I would suspect that might be expected. And although I don't like to disappoint my fans..... it isn't what it is about tonight. Maybe you think I should paint a cozy picture with my words (we are snuggling big time tonight) so that everyone can rest assured that we know how to handle ourselves post-storm.....
And I could tell you how Tessa is starting to really milk her bang noise disorder. (There was some gun noises on the T.V. tonight and she made a lap bee-line and pushed Bertie away...)
But I am not.
I am writing that someone has a problem and is making it everyone else's problem. Now, it could be Tess or it could be Bertie, but it is more than likely Tessa.
The overhang smell of gaseous output is mind numbing.
It is making the concierge blink excessively and burning a hole in her brain (so she says) - I think she is being a drama queen. But I will admit the the smell is noxious. Fumigatious. Definitely rotten-egg-for-a-month level of stink. B-A-D!!
The concierge suspects snow eating as part of the problem. But the other part is that she is eating things that have residual gluten in them. We are all on a grain free diet and we are all doing really well with it. Although Riley and I have no need for a special diet - it makes a huge difference for the "puppies", especially Harry and Tessa.
But regardless of the how, we are dealing with the "is". It IS horrible. It IS nasty. It IS wicked.
So for all of you who still have a sense of smell, may you never experience the kind of smell that requires you to evacuate your house... If you do, know that you aren't alone!
TTFN!
