Who knew yesterday's picture was a turtle nest and the debris were their discarded shells?

If you want to skip the first 8 minutes, you will get the whole effect if you go to the last minute of the footage. If you do have the almost 9 minutes to spare, it really is fascinating and the music is nice too :)

Here is a wikipedia link about Bog Turtles... which I think is the species of turtle we saw earlier in the season laying eggs in dusk. Because of the lighting we (the concierge and I) couldn't get a picture, Those are the eggs we have been waiting to hatch on the other side of the bog.
