Apple Time

Hi G-Fans!
It is that time of year again.  Apple time.  I know it is a fruit.  I know I am a dog.  But, I really like apples.  I like bananas too.  They are good!  These apples came out of our garden.  They have been a little neglected, but they are still delicious.  And pretty.
But that isn't what I want to write about.  Yesterday.  It is all about yesterday.  An exhilarating, exciting, thrilling expedition. Unauthorized, perhaps, but unavoidable.  I am not at liberty to divulge our exit strategy, suffice it to say, it was opportunity knocking.  We enthusiastically answered.  Riley volunteered to stay behind so he could alert the humans.  We didn't want to miss dinner after all!  Just a little adventure is all.
Now, we have been recuperating since last night, adventure has its price.  Bertie's paw is cut and Tess hasn't moved for hours on end.  We had to poke her to make sure she hadn't fallen into a coma.  Overall, there has been no permanent or lasting issues from our foray.  So the concierge has forgiven us for our transgression of opportunistic exercise.

So tired!
Relaxing is good.
Bertie needed to bite on the tennis ball to ease the pain of his injury...... poor puppy!
Raphael was asleep until he heard the camera go on, then he was up in a shot.

So, I am sure we will be 100% in time to celebrate the big birthday.  Since we already did the pilgrimage, there will just be festivities and no distractions involving plotting or planning in the wings.  So it is all good:)  Well, almost, we still have to make it up to Harry.  I took his spot, usually Riley and I stay behind and Harry goes along.  This is a special birthday so I decided to join.... and we had no way of grabbing Harry in time.  It is just one of those things.
I hope you find a way to add excitement into your life, that extra spark and joie de vivre...
TTFN!
-G
